🔥🌋KAWAH LJEN , a volcano on JAVA island in INDONESIA , is famous for its glowing blue flames caused by burning sulfur gases. These flames can rise up to 16 feet and are visible at night, creating an incredible sight. 🌋🔥 It also has a crater that houses a turquoise-blue lake, known as the largest highly acidic lake in the world. Its striking color comes from extremely high acidity and dissolved metals, with a pH as low as 0.5. 🌊 Miners at Kawah Ijen carry heavy loads of sulfur from the crater floor to earn their living.
